Here we are " Hump Day" on week 3 of school. Class routines are starting to fall into place & homework is beginning to come ...... Well, home.
Jordan , so far , is keeping up with his modified schedule & although gets really tired , still has his fighting spirit & it takes a lot before he concedes to not being able to complete. Three days a week we continue with traditional physical , occupational & speech therapy & on the off days from that , when time & energy permits, Jordan & I do "Mommy therapy". Into the studio we disappear for 40- 60 mins or just take that time to do stretching while chilling in front of the tv. Thank goodness he has not fired me as trainer yet !! I actually think he enjoys it - makes me feel a" little" special, I confess 😊
This week is hectic with a barrage of doctors' follow ups & more consultations to further Jordan's progress during what is still considered the critical recovery stage ... The more we can regain early on the better the outcome another 9-15 months in the future.
There are days when we feel like progress has halted & then we get a moment like the one below , when " lefty" shows us there is plenty going on ..... Made my heart smile to see & see Jordan's sense of accomplishment. Thanks to the wonderful team at Children's Therapy Center!!
