Here is my update which ,Thankfully, is more warm and fuzzy than last evening....
We took Jordan back for a 9 am appointment this morning and after discussing our concerns and weekends' events with the technician, who originally cast Jordan, it was removed. Followed by a brief consultation with Dr. Camp, who told us we were absolutely correct to bring him back in and suggested now we knew a little more about how serial casting can work we may wish to discuss between us ( John & I) if we wanted to proceed....
John & I were both confident to continue with the process once we saw - after only 4 days - that Jordan was able to stand both feet FLAT on the floor with weight evenly distributed!! As he walked a few lengths of the room you could see it begin to revert to its previous " memory" but it was enough to give us the reinforced Hope that this may truly make a difference in Jordan's recovery. As with every other step in his rehab ,so far , there is no definite map as to how this will go but we feel optimistic ☺️☺️
Second cast on and dry we headed home and Jordan picked up the school day with periods 3 & 4. This afternoon and evening he has been walking around with little ,to no, discomfort and without any aid... SO great to see.
Waiting , with anticipation, to see how tomorrow goes.... Onward and upward as they say ... Fingers crossed.
( Now accepting spare prayers and well wishes!! )
