Well it's 4:45am on Friday and we've been up off and on all night. With progress comes restraint. By restraint I don't mean I need to restrain my excitement for his progress but rather we needed to add a restraint to Jordan's right arm so he wouldn't pull his nasal feeding tube out. We had to put a padded arm brace on him to keep his arm strait. So with his only tool to explore or communicate restrained means Daddy becomes Jordan's right arm man. LOL. Snap, snap suction. Snap, snap thumb war, snap snap raise the bed. LOL. It's all good.
So Jordan will get what's called a "Peg". This is an access point in his side so he can get the calories he needs each day and allow him to before independent. One of the items needed to go to acute rehab.
Next will be all the therapies coming by to work with him. It will be less because of the surgery to put the Peg in.
That's all I can think of currently so I will try to update later today.
P.S. Big Thanks go out to Anthony & Strphanie at Rock Star Snowcones for their event last night. Sounds like it was a blast. Sorry I couldn't be there. You guys are awesome.
LOVE JMJT
