I'll start with the events from just a moment ago. We just had an interview with Univision (local Hispanic TV channel) it will air at 11pm tonight. I'm not sure what their channel number is for the different providers.
Jordan just hog his staples out and didn't even flinch. Last time I tried to count I got up to 65 staples and a doctor can in and I got distracted. My guess is 80 staples in all.
Mommy and Daddy each took a turn giving Jordan his Tylenol through his feeding tube.
We had a neurologist see Jordan today because some of the bruising on his brain is in an area that has been known to initiate seizures. He asked if Jordan has had any seizures since the accident and he hasn't so the beginning assessment is good that they aren't affected in that way. They have had him on an anti seizure med since the initial Surgey. Seizures are common any time there is a brain injury.
One of the other steps forward ce from the neurologist was he asked Jordan to sent tact 2 from 5 and Jordan heals up 3. So a step forward in cognitive thinking. We can build off of this.
Yesterday, if you remember, we had the CT scan. The results came back that most of the brain swelling has gone down. The b remnants of the bruising are probably still there but unless there is some segnificant down turn, knock on wood, there will not be a follow up MRI. They will judge all other improvements on his activity.
And of course he had his feeding tube.
That's about all for now.
